It’s July and the library is busier than ever. This is the time we welcome back summer residents and meet vacationers who want to take advantage of all our library has to offer. This summer we’re happy to add to that ever growing list with our Thursday Night at the Movies sponsored by the Friends of the WDL. What a great way to cool off on a summer evening! Showtime is at 6:45.

Our Summer Children’s Program begins the 12th on Tuesday mornings at 10:30. Stories and activities are aimed for children 3-7. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.

We recently received a donation of the complete set of the Teaching Companies Great Courses on CD. We are in the process of cataloging all of these magnificent audio presentations and they will soon be available for your use.

The ANNUAL BOOK SALE is coming up quickly-Wednesday, August 4th. We are still accepting books and still need volunteers to sort and box. There’s also a sign-up sheet at the desk if you can help in any way on the day of the event. Many hands make light work. The FRIENDs will hold a Bake Sale inside the library on that day. Hope you can attend.
