Young Reader’s Book Club

We are in the process of starting a Young Reader’s Book Club. We are inviting young readers, middle school and older, to explore a series of books and discuss and share them together. Depending on the selection made by the readers we will use a variety of formats…books, audio tapes/CDs, e-books and film. It’s summer. It’s hot. Come to our air conditioned viewing room and enjoy a cool evening watching a good movie.

Children’s Summer Program

Location: Children's Room

Tuesdays, July 12-August 16

Time: 10:30-11:30 am

This summer we will be holding a Story Hour on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11:30 am. Planned for children 3-7, children must be accompanied by an adult. Stories and activities will be planned around the theme of Going Green@ Your Library. Children may attend for one or all sessions beginning July 12 and ending August 16. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 4th

Time: 9 AM to 2 PM

The West Dennis Annual Book Sale will be held on Wednesday, August 4th, from 9 AM to 2 PM on the lawn of the library. All types of books and media will be available for sale at rock bottom prices. Great place to stock up on your beach reading material.

The FRIENDs will also host their annual Bake Sale inside the library on this day.

Books are still being accepted, as are volunteers for sorting. Check in at the library desk.

West Dennis Book Club

3rd Wednesday of each month

The West Dennis Library Book Club which usually meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 2 p.m. will not be meeting in July and August but will resume Sept. 15th. We’ll share our summer favorites at that time and make selections for the fall.
